Why: Volunteering as a tutor is extremely beneficial to many aspects of your life. Becoming a non-profit tutor is a wonderful experience to add to a resume and is a extremely easy way to get volunteer hours. The biggest benefit of being a tutor is that you can make an enormous difference in the life of a child. Seeing the look of finally understanding something on a student’s face is priceless. A student that is having trouble understanding something will always remember the teen that helped them through it
Requirements: To become a tutor, you have patience and a talent for explaining challenging mathematical concepts to young minds. If you are succeeding in advanced math classes in 9th – 12th grade, you are eligible to volunteer!
How: If you want to volunteer as a tutor, contact contact@mathmountaintutoing.com and make sure to put what math class you are taking, what grade you have in the math class, as well as your grade and age.
